Gaara (我 愛 羅, Gaara) is a shinobi from Sunagakure. He became a one-tailed shukaku jinchuriki before being born, and the sand villagers feared him like a monster. Unable to connect with anyone, Gaara hated the world and grew up only interested in himself, giving meaning to his life by killing everyone he met. After being defeated by a Jinchuriki like himself, Gaara began emulating him. (五代 目 風影, Godaime Kazekage, literally: The Fifth Insinuation), protects the village and all its inhabitants, and alleviates the fear it causes among the villagers.
